2nd Annual Weiss Lake Duck Race
The 2nd annual Weiss Lake Duck Race was held Saturday, July 8th 2023 in Leesburg. It was a beautiful day for all 1,000+ ducks to float down Weiss Lake with the top 3 winners pulled by County chairman, Ronnie Shaw. Our prize money was even bigger this year, giving away $3,500 from sponsors Chevron, WEIS Radio and Brittani Handley with Impact Realty. With over 65 sponsors again this year, it truly is our local and small businesses that have a heart for the mission and support our food bank.
1st Annual Weiss Lake Duck Race
The 1st Annual Weiss Lake Duck Race raised $34,210! Thank you to all 65+ of our sponsors and a special thank you to all our patrons, we sold 1,700 ducks! It was a very successful 1st year that will create positive growth for our mission, new facility and funding for years to come!
