The Weiss Lake Duck Race Festival is coming up Saturday, May 16, from 10 AM–4 PM
at Jake’s on the Lake, and you can be part of the race by purchasing your duck now.
Ducks are $5 each, and every dollar goes directly to support the
Family Care Center Food Bank and the families we serve.
Race prizes:
• $2,000 – 1st Place
• $1,000 – 2nd Place
• $500 – 3rd Place
The festival will feature 25 arts & crafts vendors, food trucks,
and live entertainment, with the duck race starting at 3:30 PM

Weiss Lake Duck Race
The Family Care Center started the Weiss Lake Duck Race back in 2022, and it has quickly become one of our most exciting annual community events. We come together to launch 1,000+ ducks to float down Weiss Lake with the top 3 winners. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, we awarded $3,500 in prize money and celebrated another incredible year of community support. The Duck Race continues to showcase how deeply our small businesses care about the mission of the Family Care Center Food Bank and the families we serve.
